Would you date someone who had previously dated one of your friends?

Yes! I'm perfectly happy to date my friend's exes. They're exes for a reason.
No! It's too incestuous. I don't feel comfortable dating a friend's ex.
Maybe Yes: I haven't had the opportunity, but I don't see a problem with it.

Hi, Well dear...I would put it this way that the no. of years do not decide the depth and the strength of a relationship. Similarly, even the distance cannot be the reason of making or breaking any relationship. If you think about it yourself, it is not the distance or the no. of years of separation that is bothering you. The root cause is your insecurity towards the success of this relationship. Have you not seen so many married couples being away from each other for years due to some work reasons. So is your case like so many other couples. If both you are genuinely committed to each other, then these 3 years of long distance cannot hamper your goal in anyway. Your guy will successfully complete his studies and come back to you. But if either of you or both of you becomes shaky or negative, and loses focus then the relationship can be in deep doldrums. Have faith in your love for him and in his love for you. This is the real testing time for both of you. When everything is smooth, then all works well. But its only on the bumpy hilly roads that you realize how good and strong the tyres of your car are. So, keep a light heart and cleanse your mind of all insecurities and fear. This is the time to test how strong and sturdy your feelings for each other are. If you truly love him, you will wait for him to come back and marry you. If he truly loves you, he will concentrate on, then complete his studies and come back to marry you. Remember one thing, that which is yours will always come back to you..so never fear for that. And it pointless to fret and fume about something, which was never yours!Think about it...
