Looks are overrated. It's part of attraction, but if you notice it starting to matter less, then go for what you like! It's understandable to be a bit self-conscious, but it's important to think about you and what you like. Take a while to think about what this girl means to you, and whether her looks make enough of a difference to factor in a final decision about what you do. Your friends are important, but if you like this girl for more than her looks, then you've got your head on straight. Love doesn't always mean everything with sync perfectly with the girl/guy and everyone you know, but that's part of the fun.
