Would you date someone who had previously dated one of your friends?

Yes! I'm perfectly happy to date my friend's exes. They're exes for a reason.
No! It's too incestuous. I don't feel comfortable dating a friend's ex.

Tacky or a Good Friend?
My ex and I are great friends now that we've been divorced for over 3 years. He is single and I am not. He is dating, but hasn't met anyone he really wants to be serious with yet. I have a friend who likes him, and he likes her, and I think they would be great together. Is it tacky for me to fix them up?

I think it's wonderful that you are "great friends" with your ex-husband and there is no bitterness or rancour.

I think it is perfectly fine if you matchmake and get your friend and ex-husband together. What's tacky about it? I think it would just prove that people can be good friends even if they divorce each other.

Go ahead and do it!
