Why Doesn't He Listen?

My husband and I have been married for 21 years and I swear that he never listens to me at all. I have told him that I would appreciate him letting me know where he's at if he leaves the house so I know how to get in touch with him if there were an emergency. He never takes the time to tell me and of course I get mad and we fight. Would it really be so hard for him to just take 2 minutes to tell me?

Maybe he's just asserting himself and fighting what you are asking of him. Maybe you should sit down and really explain to him why you want to know. If he still won't do it then maybe you should consider doing the same to him and seeing if it bothers him. If it doesn't then it's obviously something that just isn't as important to him as it is to you and you'll probably just need to deal with it. If it does bother him then you'll be able to get him to see how you feel.
