Love the Fiance! Hate the Ring! Should I say something?

So my boyfriend recently popped the question and I was so happy. My problem? I hate the ring! It is not something I would have picked out and I don't know if I should say anything to him about it.

So you got the special moment but it wasn't exactly wrapped the way you wanted. That does put you in a tight spot. I'm sure you are not the only woman to ever have to deal with this. I would think about what it is about the ring that you just don't like. Is the setting a square instead of a solitaire? Is it gold instead of platinum? Identify exactly what you don't like before you decide to speak to your new fiance. Try to find out why he chose that particular ring. Maybe it reminded him of you in some way. As long as it's not an heirloom you can talk to him but I would recommend you tread lightly. As long as you aren't going to ask for a bigger ring (you may be looking at all he could afford) I would be honest with him. After all, you have to wear it for a very long time and there is no sense in you hating something as meaningful as your engagement ring. But be open to his explanation about why he chose it for you....it just might make the ring seem perfect.
