Would you date someone who had previously dated one of your friends?

Yes! I'm perfectly happy to date my friend's exes. They're exes for a reason.
No! It's too incestuous. I don't feel comfortable dating a friend's ex.
Maybe Yes: I haven't had the opportunity, but I don't see a problem with it.
Maybe No: I haven't done it, but I don't think I would.

Why didn't she invite me, a model, to her casting call?
My homegirl and I have been cool for years now. Despite the fact that we've been friends, my other friends don't like her. I have trust issues with her myself, but I know where we stand as friends. We aren't the type to go to each others' houses and just relax and chill. To say we've been friends this long, the comfort level is not there. Just recently I started a new career venture and it's sort of on the lines of what she does. I'm getting into modeling and acting and she owns a clothing store. Just so happens she needed models for her website, she didn't let me know she was having a casting call or anything, I had to find out! I just thought that was extremely shady and if she was my friend, why would she do this?

she did that because she is not your friend. she sees you as competition and does not want the best for you. but if you don't trust her, why on earth would you even call her a friend? if you can't trust your own "homegirl," then by gum, who CAN you trust?!

First off, that's not your friend. You'd call her an acquaintance. A friend is someone you can call and lean on, tell about your problems and vice-versa. A friend is someone who wants to see you prosper in your career, basically you help each other succeed. Now, several people make the misconception about friends and aquiantances. If your friend wanted you to know about her job, you would've known; plain and simple. Just stay driven and focused on what you have to do for you.
