Is it ok for the woman to work while the man takes care of their children? Has anybody out there experienced this? What kinds of problems can arise?

Dear friend,

There is nothing wrong with a man taking care of the kids while the woman works, it's ok while there's full respect in the relationship and both of you play at home the roles that belong to each.

My advice, keep the most close to your children while you're not working, and let them know that their father is the man of the house and you're the woman who helps her husband to make money, eventually it would be ok for him to get a job in order to show the children that it's not about sex, it's also about mutual help in the family, lately they'll be independent men and women with a very open criteria about real life, but remember, cycle by cycle.

I think it's perfectly fine. It can only be a problem if you make it a problem. Some women like to feel taken care of and want to be the ones to raise their children, some would rather be more independent and be the ones to bring home the bacon. It depends on you. If this bothers you, you should talk to your husband about it.
