E. has a degree in Economics from The Johns Hopkins University. He was born and raised in Northern New Jersey (aka Nawth Joyzee), spent a few years living in Brooklyn, and eventually found his way back to the Garden State. E. is happily married to a girl from Kalamazoo, MI, and the father of three little punk rocker, free-spirited, kids. He's an avid Yankee fan, and named his daughter after his favorite baseball hero, The Hit Man, Don "Mattingly" - true story. E. has 12 years of experience as an entrepreneur, with intermittent dealings in Corporate America. He built his first company (in the Medical Gas Industry) at age 24, and later sold it to a publicly traded entity 3.5 years later.

E's motivation in founding GetOnTheCouch was to create a forum where guys and girls could exchange relationship advice, without barriers, in a convenient and anonymous manner. Aside from his Couch duties, E. enjoys hiking, brushing his teeth, pranking his parents and friends, cutting his own hair, sampling beers (especially IPA's), discovering new bands, and daydreaming.

As co-founder and chief technology officer of GetOnTheCouch, GK is responsible for guiding the sites functionality and more importantly usability. Before co-founding GetOnTheCouch, GK spent most of his time writing web 2.0 applications for a host of companies. GK holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and a Masters Degree in Information Systems from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Outside of the GetOnTheCouch bubble GK enjoys working on his house and traveling the world.

Erec Smith has been a writer since before he could spell. Now, he has a Ph.D. in English from University of Illinois, a teaching gig at a small liberal arts college, a wacky novel by the name of Creamy Nougat, and a bunch of other obscure articles on rhetorical and writing theory that he actually finds interesting (if no one else does). Lately, he has become the director of content and occasional writer for GetOnTheCouch.com. He likes the idea of people getting real advice from real people and he tries to put the most interesting and experientially eclectic articles on the site. (A variety of viewpoints is ideal. At the very least, it is more intriguing).

Brenda Dee Cook is a Los Angeles based content provider/spokesperson with over a decade of experience providing dating and relationship content to a number of prominent national websites in the online dating industry. Adding her humorous twist to a variety of topics ranging from relationship issues and strategies to the latest dating trends, she quickly became an acclaimed authority in the swiftly evolving world of online dating etiquette.

Hosting issue-specific dating chats for AOL.com, Borders Books, and assorted talk shows, she has contributed ongoing dating advice to Elle.com and Seventeen magazine. Offering relationship advice to readers who want maximum rewards from their online dating experience, Brenda also provides online dating tips and advice for such programs as Inside Edition and ZDTV's Internet Tonight, and is frequently sought out and quoted as an online dating expert by major media, including CNN, ABC News, USA Today, Rolling Stone, InStyle, Maxim, Cosmopolitan, People, Newsweek, Wall St. Journal, New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, and C/Net; including numerous radio shows across the country.

When she's off the couch, you'll find her playing her ukulele and singing in local festivals around California.
