Suppose someone you know was in a clandestine relationship with a man recently separated from a woman he was married to for many years, people who were in your social circle. And although the relationship of the married couple was unhappy for a long time, when he finally left the marriage, the wife was distraught and vengeful. He soon after connected with the 'other' woman and feels reborn, and although she is happy, she feels alot of guilt about the relationship and refuses to let her inner circle know about it.
