I got engaged last month and I'm glad to have taken this step towards legalizing our relationship. Our wedding date is approaching and I'm having trouble planning things out with my fiancée. I'm a headstrong person and usually like things to be my way. We're already having arguments over our honeymoon destination...you know, the whole beach versus hills problem. We're having difference of opinion about the way we want our marriage to take place, our future finances etc.

Now, I sincerely want to make this work. I really want to find a middle path, but given my aggressive nature, I'm finding it hard to do so.

Any advice on how I can reach for a peaceful compromise?

One of you have to compromise. Or else it's going to be one hell of a miserable journey.
